Kingston Technology Ships HyperX Genesis with New Heatspreader

Kingston Technology Europe Ltd, an affiliate of Kingston Technology Company Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced a new look to its Kingston HyperX Genesis enthusiast memory. The new look accentuates the traditional blue color with a military/ballistic trim along the top, similar to the Genesis Special Edition Grey modules made especially for the Intel P67 Sandy Bridge platform.

Kingston has begun transitioning all skus in the Genesis family - which range from 1333MHz to 2133MHz frequencies and are available in various single, dual and triple channel configurations - to the new look heatspreader. All part numbers will remain the same. For more information and a look at the new Genesis please visit this page.
Kingston HyperX memory is backed by a lifetime warranty and free 24/7 technical support.

So they are the same as the ones I use with only some minor differences in looks ?
I should have gone with Corsair. At least their colours match the rest of my rig. >_>

I like the low rise spreaders and the holes should help vent some heat out if there is any at all. No need to worry about height issues with cpu coolers as well. I must admit though, I love the heatsinks on my GSKILL Tridents and I love Corsairs modules and the old HyperX's with tall fins.
