AMD Streams in Catalyst 11.6b Hotfix Update
AMD today released the second hotfix update to Catalyst 11.6, which provides immediate fixes to bugs found with the previous hotfix. Catalyst 11.6b Hotfix update fixes a BSOD error noted when connecting a HDMI and DisplayPort based display to an AMD Radeon HD graphics card running on Catalyst 11.6. It also fixes random screen flickering noted when idling, as well as a mouse pointer corruption issue found with older Catalyst releases. Apart from this, it packs the key feature of Caralyst 11.6a Hotfix, support for AMD A8-3800 and A6-3600 series accelerated processing units.

Personally, I think 11.5's and 11.6's are better than 11.4's. Use what works, one driver may be good for one configuration than the other.
◦Screen flickering when the system is idle
◦Mouse pointer corruption found in previous AMD Catalyst releases
Have nothing to do with APUs, at all, and as such, you are very wrong to claim that this driver is for APUs only. I've been dealing with these two specific issues since the HD5870 launch in 2009. Thanks. ;)
I can only hope!
you'd be stupid to expect them to pick up the ball again and start making drivers when they already declared they wont be adding support for the cards in vista/win7
was just wondering if there was anything newer?
