CM Storm Trigger Gaming Keyboard Launched In Europe
Finally the high-end CM Storm Trigger keyboard will be launched in Europe! The CM Storm Trigger Keyboard is the first keyboard produced by CM Storm for the extreme gamers.
The Trigger keyboard offers you the ability to press up to 6 keys simultaneously and utilize five programmable macro keys with profile management. These features give you the possibility to reduce transport and redeployment times by storing profiles and key assignments with 64 KB of onboard memory. Next to this, the multi-media controls allow you to quickly adjust for example audio options to make working with the Trigger even easier.
A detachable wrist rest and non-slip rubber coating make sure you have maximal comfort and results while gaming, by providing proper support for wrists and reducing unwanted keyboard movements or slides.
The 18K gold plated ultra low latency USB connectors and the integrated two port USB 2.0 hub of the Trigger give you the option to connect other peripheral devices. A high-grade braided cable ensures that the keyboard and connected peripherals maintain a solid link to your PC or notebook.
For people who use their gaming keyboard in a dark environment, the Trigger also offers some nice back lighting options. You can either choose to have all the keys highlighted with Red LEDs, highlight only the WASD and arrow keys or have the LEDs in a breathing mode.

Good.Maybe you should read the article again... or look at the last picture.
Though I certainly prefer this to the "adolescence-chic" of Razer, Cyborg, or the Azio Levetron (hah).
But when I pay 130 euros for a keyboard, I want it to look special as well. Not special in the "punch in your face" sense, but in a way that it can distinguish itself from a mirriad of similar products out there.
But then again, many products sort of grow on you in time and you appreciate them more and more as you keep using them. May be this is one of them. I generally like like CM Storm products, using Storm Sirius and Storm Sentinel myself.

I think it looks pretty good though. The subdued look suits my tastes, I hate blingy in your face keyboards. For the price... not so much. :shadedshu

Why can't we add keyboard and mouse to System Specs? Just as important as the other gear.

My 30$ k-board, does more than that.. And it even pass the "2x shift test*".
*Press and hold down, both right and left Shift, and while holding the shift-keys down, type the Alphabet:
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
and hey, its not a bad keyboard and 99% of the people using it never ran into any problems...
NKRO is overrated...
6KRO means any 6 keys, PLUS modifier keys (left shift, right shift, left ctrl, right ctrl, left alt, right alt)
left shift and ctrl are used by many, so calling it 8KRO makes sense... but we didnt want people to complain cause technically its 6KRO yadda yadda yadda...
now, please tell me how you plan to simultaneously press more than 8 keys, with your left hand... cause you DO use a mouse when you play games, dont you? :P
pressing and holding down 8 keys simultaneously with 5 fingers is hard enough
doing it within a game, in a way it doesnt cause your buddies to call you up and ask if you got a seizure hehehe
lets say your crouch (1) jumping (2) sideways/backwards (3,4) while frantically turning on and off your flashlight (5), throwing grenades (6), shooting and reloading (7)
there, thats near impossible and its only 7 actions, and i cant think of anything else you would do at the same time as all those other things
but hey, maybe we should make it a challange... and whoever manages to use more than 8 keys in a way it actually makes sense, within a game, wins something :laugh:
