massive f/A/i/L IMHO....
The gadget comes with two USB-C ports. In the early access pack I received, I got a USB-C to USB-A cable. Kiwi’s site mentions they’re including a USB-C to USB-C cable in the final box too.
The "SuperSpeed" bus provides for a transfer mode at a nominal rate of 5.0 Gbit/s. That's the video bandwidth of this KVM? So this is good for 1080p. No DP?
Compared to traditional KVMs, Kiwi's is more portable, can be set up easily and more straightforward to use. You don't need to press a button to switch computers. You switch to another window on your laptop to use the other computer. And you can always keep an eye on the other computer since its screen is just another window on your laptop.
Compared to remote IP based KVM, I think Kiwi has better performance, requires no setup at all and is less expensive.
And I find Kiwi Pro's capability to take screenshots of a computer or even record the screen output as video very useful.
