That said, they do make a lot of OEM/ODM manufacturing as well, so if it's just in terms of pure output...
But as far as retail brand goes, not so much number three...
@phanterx : yeah, but their products recently especially on those golden board look promising with fully potential for overclocking, i wish the price on retail market wont fly high and compete with other well known board makers such as asus, asrock, gigabyte, etc
i'm just realized those damn boards are limited edition
THey are a huge board maker, they might actually be the worlds third largest motherboard makers including OEMs/ODMs. I mean you have to realize that out of all the motherboard companies you see, GIGABYTE makes their own boards and brands under the GIGABYTE name, ASRock and ASUS have Pegatron make their boards(ASUS and pegatron used to be one company, and ASRock is now part of Pegatron, ASUS just sold its ~25% share of Pegatron very recently), MSI I believe uses foxconn, Foxconn uses Foxconn, ECS uses ECS, and ECS prob makes boards for some other vendors(Intel and EVGA possibly). So out of the board makers who actually make their boards and sell under their own name, in the list above there are 3. lol Which is kind of funny considering they all consider themselves motherboard manufacturers, but designing and marketing and selling the board is possibly over 50% of the manufacturing process so i guess they are manufacturers.
