SteelSeries Announces Limited Anniversary Edition of Siberia Elite Headset

SteelSeries, the leading global manufacturer of gaming peripherals and accessories, will be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of its Siberia Headset line in 2014; in honor of the celebration, SteelSeries is introducing the Anniversary Edition of the Siberia Elite Gaming Headset. To commemorate the year Siberia was introduced to gamers, there will only be 2,004 exclusive units made available - each with a unique laser-etched unit number on the metal headband.

The all-white Siberia Elite Anniversary Edition headset features subtle differences and anniversary detailing on the inner earcup mesh. Wow, a $60-90 headset on sale for $299 because it's a limited anniversary edition? No thanks. They look cool, but there is no way I'd pay 4-5x as much for it and I'm normally a "limited" edition sucker.

You're referring to the Siberia V2, the Siberia Elite is in a whole different league.
The regular version is priced at 200 Euros (I guess 250 Dollar in the US).

The black ones are $175 atm on amazon. I hear while they aren't worth the msrp of $200 they are very good sounding for a headset.

Ahh, I missed that. That's a different story then. Thanks for clearing that up...I was unaware they had a higher end product.

I think I'd probably still rather my Sennheiser PC350s for a gaming headset, but that at least explains the price thing...
