Xtremesystem's Kingpin scores 23K in 3Dmark06, claims he can get more easily
Kingpin has done it again. He grabbed the latest hardware, put it together, cooled it with liquid nitrogen, and overclocked it. And the result of this? He officially is the first person to get 23,000 in 3Dmark06. Kingpin then took great pleasure in smashing the current 3Dmark05 and 3Dmark03 records, scoring 30449 and 74983 3Dmarks, respectively. 23,000 in 3Dmark06 that's screaming.
Good luck with that you might end up breaking all your bones
But not such a great thing nowadays, power requirements of 8800 are excessive, also the heat produced by these cards. Why GPU makers (and CPU makers also) dont focus more on reducing heat on their chips?? I am tired of seen high-end machines full of coolers everywhere.
