Zotac Announces its GeForce GT 720 Graphics Cards
Zotac announced its entry-level GeForce GT 720 graphics cards, based on NVIDIA's GK208 silicon, featuring 192 CUDA cores, and a 64-bit wide DDR3 memory interface, holding 1 GB of memory. Since the chip can make do with passive cooling in the half-height form-factor, Zotac went ahead and gave its cards the "ZONE" branding it normally associates with passively cooled high-end cards. The cards are clocked at reference speeds of 797 MHz core, and 1600 MHz DDR memory; and feature either 1 GB or 2 GB of memory.
