Lepa Announces the EXllusion 240 Liquid CPU Cooler

LEPA announces the EXllusion 240, the liquid CPU cooler with 400W TDP cooling capacity. It is equipped with the dual patented CDP (Central Diffusing Passage) cold plate, 240mm radiator, and Dual-Convex-Blades fans for the powerful yet silent cooling. EXllusion 240 also features coolant refillable design, and included red, blue, green dyes allow users to customize the preferred coolant color. This facilitates modders to customize the tone of their coolant to their wildest imagination.

Unlike conventional liquid coolers, LEPA's R&D team created this predominantly semi-DIY liquid cooler that perfectly enhances both system performance and aesthetics. The EXllusion 240 includes red, blue, and green dyes which will give you the freedom to tone your coolant's color and compliment the system that you're building. The water block has a built-in power-on LED which enhances the illumination and brings additional color gradation.
Rapid CPU hot spot elimination by dual patented CDP cold plate
Annoying system lags caused by hot spots when the CPU is overclocked? LEPA EXllusion 240 makes hot spots disappear thanks to the water block's dual patented CDP (Central Diffusing Passage) cold plate and extra large coolant deposit. LEPA's R&D department employs a patented CDP cold plate, which allows the coolant to fully absorb the heat. The enlarge water block holds 350ml of coolant, which has double the volume than other typical close-loop liquid coolers. In addition, the chromed copper based cold plate is free from oxidation and offers durable & stable heat conduction performance.

400W TDP by Dual-Convex-Blades Fan & 240mm radiator
EXllusion 240 employs Dual-Convex-Blade Fans which boosts down-force air pressure and creates high-volume airflow. Therefore, the fans can efficiently move the heat from the radiator at lower speed. Furthermore, the 240mm radiator enhances the heat exchange surface and ensures the water block receives the cooled coolant, non-stop! All features makes EXllusion 240 to provide exceptionally 400W TDP cooling power, and gives overclocker a reliable cooling solution.

LEPA EXllusion 240 supports AMD and Intel desktop CPU sockets with durable metal brackets. The included accessory comes with a ready to use 500ml anti-freezing coolant for further refilling needs. The Semi-DIY LEPA EXllusion 240 is a perfect choice for those who seek quiet, high performance liquid cooler for their extreme system, with the option to make the coolant color to match that system.

Why even bother with dealing with pump noise. It is not worth it over air. Custom and AIO... all of them turrible.

Noise? not worth? ...
well i had my share of AIO, yep even Corsair and yes these are "terrible" and Cooler Master (yes basic AIO can have a noisy pump and not be worth it ... for Corsair, but i hate Corsair's AIO so i'm not objective, let's say it's IMHO)

and custom loop tho, only one but a dual loop separated GPU and CPU, was it worth is over my HR-02 Macho or my IFX-14? did i notice the noise of the 2 Phobya DC12-220 unregulated pump? no. were my temperature worth it? well yes ... around 5°(idle) and 10°(load) less for the CPU and 20°(idle) to 40 °(load) less for the GPU

if done right none of your concern is really a problem (ie adhesive foampad under the pump)

now i am back on a AIO (Raijintek Triton, the model for the LEPA one, almost seems like a Raijintek OEM with some minor modification) do i hear the pump? no even with all turned off and the pump on 12v the noise is perfectly acceptable, are my temp worth it? well yes they are still good and the space necessary for the cpu block is reduced over a air setup, and i re used my R9 290 loop for my Poseidon Platinum 980 (and the temps are effectively lower too, idle or load)

Also worth mentioning but a 120mm AIO is sometime the only way to cool effectively a mITX battlebox (not a HTPC ofc) due to the restricted place for a CPU cooler

the only thing that astonish me in that press new ... is that LEPA EXllusion 240 is totally a Raijintek Triton with some plastic around the acrylic tank (even the Crossbar is the same), different fan and a bundled 500ml coolant bottle (the tank should be 350ml like the Triton) now i wonder if they will price it as the Triton and do a Core bundle (no fan, you pick your fan) because pricewise the Triton is one of the most perfect AIO i ever had (and don't feel like a AIO, at last it has a bigger amount of liquid than CLC AIO and you can even replace the tubing or the rad if you want)

now i would like to know if you had any experience with custom or AIO generally (please do no mention a brand that i already avoid, because it would just prove your point to be wrong)

Not once have I had an issue with pump noise on my custom loops. So I wouldn't say they are all terrible.

I think they should remove that sentence xD it's not LEPA's R&D but RAIJINTEK who created it originaly (is LEPA a sub of RAIJINTEK? i am used to see Raijintek copy other, like the Ereboss to the HR-02 Macho but the Triton was the 1st AIO with that design of semi-DIY LC )even the fittings on the tank and rad are exactly the same :D

they even have the same coldplate water channel

so obvious

I have no idea what that means because im not a watercooling guru. :) Only water cooling I have is the Corsair H60 on my CPU.

Meaning fans don't leak.
I've got an AIO but if it breaks down i'm going back to fans and a heatsink.
