VIA Vinyl HD Audio Codecs Receive Windows Vista Premium Logo
VIA Technologies, Inc, a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced that all VIA Vinyl HD audio codecs have passed the Microsoft Windows Vista 32bit/64bit Premium logo tests, ensuring users can feel the warmth of sound in the Vista environment.
As the x86 PC platform rapidly becomes the premier solution for home entertainment devices, consumers are demanding support for the latest high definition audio content, support which is offered by the 8-channel VIA Vinyl VT1708 and VT1708A audio codecs.
