CORSAIR Launches "STOP GPU ABUSE" Campaign With #GPURESCUE

Corsair, in a welcome, interesting and heartfelt marketing ploy, has taken its place on the side of gamers worldwide against the unintended, hear-wrenching abuse felt by graphics cards used for mining everywhere. The soft, unyielding music does a great job of just showing how much of a "crying out" these graphics cards that are being put to sweaty, inhuman, ever-worsening working conditions are releasing.

If you were as touched as other users (and Corsair marketers) in doing this video, there are a lot of ways for you to donate and contribute to the liberation of these shackled miners. For your donation, Corsair will buy back a mining-set graphics card, and send you a photo of your "adopted" GPU happily crunching frames inside a gaming computer - its real home. Just contribute via PayPal, your choice of credit card, venmo, or... Bitcoin?

Lol. Just watched it. At least someone tries to bring some humor into the modern PC enthusiast market. I still remember their ad gigs with RGB shrine

The bitcoin logo at the end, next to other payment methods for donations, made me laugh so hard...

Hell if I'm buying a mining card. Throw it away.

I’m done buying GPU’s. When my fury gets over burden some day, I’m done.

RIP PC gaming, devs will have to cater to old old GPU’s soon and dumb down game graphics to make any sales when gamers can’t upgrade or they will have a smaller demographics to sell to and it will diminish each year till no longer worth making them ,

Not at all , I simply reckoned that this is how it looks like from the perspective of someone that is annoyed by mining and all that.

Except for the fact that mining these days is often easier on the cards than gaming, so this whole video is honestly a farce...

...I still can appreciate the humor value though, and I'm a miner. You should try to laugh a little man.

Thanks to GPU mining, manufacturers have to design graphics cards so they can withstand many hours of heavy usage. I hate when a good graphics card blows up 5 months after warranty period because of built-in
Planned obsolescence!

Considering I do it purely for journalism and education, that's mighty selfish of you.

May your GPUs live long and prosper.
