Corsair Introduces K70 Pro TKL Keyboard With Rapid Trigger and FlashTap Tech in TKL Form-Factor

Corsair is excited to infuse its MGX magnetic switch technology into a competitive tenkeyless form-factor with the all-new K70 PRO TKL keyboard. Replete with sought-after features such as FlashTap and Rapid Trigger, the K70 PRO TKL is ready to dominate the competitive gaming scene. The K70 PRO TKL debuts all-new Corsair MGX Hyperdrive magnetic switches that harness Hall-effect sensors for ultra-fast magnetic activation. The K70 PRO TKL features Rapid Trigger, which accelerates actions by registering and resetting keys instantly, outpacing even the best mechanical switches. Combined with the ability to customize actuation distance from an ultra-sensitive 0.1 mm to a deep 4.0 mm, the K70 PRO TKL adapts to every playstyle.

The K70 PRO TKL also offers FlashTap as an option. A brand new SOCD system that enables users to perform esports-grade character movement, FlashTap revolutionizes in-game movement, with modes that prioritize the first or last key pressed. Used in conjunction with Rapid Trigger, FlashTap makes rapid-strafing and move-mirroring in games faster than ever before. Users can instantly switch from casual to pro with Game Mode. In one button, settings optimize, easily mispressed keys lock, RGB lighting turns static, and Rapid Trigger activates for instant input registration.
When milliseconds matter, Corsair AXON hyper-processing technology keeps the K70 PRO TKL from losing time to input lag or delay, putting those critical moments back into players' hands for match-deciding moves. The wired-only K70 PRO TKL boasts 8,000 Hz hyper-polling to register keypresses in just one eighth of a millisecond.

Corsair continues to innovate by bringing its best-in-class multi-sensory experience to the K70 PRO TKL. Subtle enough for distraction-free gaming, pre-lubricated MGX Hyperdrive switches have a sturdy double-rail structure that makes every keypress consistent and wobble-free. Two layers of premium sound-dampening foam reduce unwanted noise for softened acoustics that are extra rich and satisfying.

"Today's top players demand not only the fastest gaming gear available, but also a keyboard that fits their setup and enhances their play," said Thi La, President and COO at Corsair. "The K70 PRO TKL combines proprietary hardware with powerful iCUE software, which serves as the nucleus for all our products. Competitive gamers now have the ability to customize and control their gaming experience in a way only Corsair can provide."

Speed goes by many names: Hall effect switches, Rapid Trigger, 8,000 Hz hyper-polling, FlashTap… But we call it the K70 PRO TKL.

Availability, Warranty, and Pricing
The Corsair K70 PRO TKL gaming keyboard is available immediately from the Corsair webstore and the Corsair worldwide network of authorized online retailers and distributors. The price of the Corsair K70 PRO TKL gaming keyboard is set at $179.99 USD.

K70 PRO TKL is backed by a 2-year warranty, alongside the Corsair worldwide customer service and technical support network.

I know this is a chopped-off, mini-me gamr-toi, but who in their right friggin mind, gamr or otherwise, would want an activation depth of 4mm ?????

That would turn my uber-mega-complex, multi-tabbed spreadsheets into a 24/7 slugfest.. :D

fyi, when I get my spreadsheets, I only have 2-4 hours to get them done & send 'em back up the chain....so no k70 4 me !

It took Corsair long enough to adapt magnetic/hall effect switches but you still need to deal with iCUE.

I used to use it for the numpad key but stopped and just disabled the key as i do not need it in a off state, how ever i use close to 3mm with forward movement key for 7 days to die as there is nothing more than annoying in shooting shit and moving forward by accident and falling in a reinforced area were only zombies should be hehe. If i was right handed i would do it to the windows key as i do times in a game when possible.

Let's see if it fairs any better than my K60 TKL Pro did. Two RMAs for it becoming unrecognizable by Windows and it was relegated to a backup.

Am I missing something?? They say it uses magnetic switches but the picture shows a conventional mech switch. Wooting’s lekker switches do not have a crosspoint contact and the stem is much thicker since it contains the magnet…

Just get a Meletrix BOOG75 (or a Keychron Q5 HE, if you can't live without num pad), and forget this floating key SS disappointment-for-the-price thing...
