Cooler Master Introduces Its First MMO Mouse: MM830

Cooler Master, a global leader in designing and manufacturing innovative gaming peripherals and computer components, today announces the launch of its new gaming mouse, the MM830, making it the second product within the M800 series to hit the market following the MP860 dual sided RGB mousepad.

The MM830 is Cooler Master's first MMO mouse weighing at 162g. It features dynamic four zone RGB lighting effects and is designed with a top-of-the line 3360 Pixart optical sensor for accuracy and speed, with up to 24,000 DPI. Its durable PBT chassis reduces wear and tear, while Omron switches provide a 20M click reliability. Located in the thumb-rest area, the hidden D-Pad grants fast access, especially useful in MMOs. Its OLED screen permits further customization. Users can program the screen to display graphics, track APMs, reflect DPI settings and more.

"We wanted to offer an MMO mouse that provides a solid thumb grip without having an overabundance of buttons." says Bryant Nguyen, Peripheral General Manager. "We took a unique approach by adding this integrated D-pad."

Pricing and Availability
The MM830 will be available Cooler Master select retailers, respectively, for $/€79.99 starting January 15, 2019. For more information, please visit www.coolermaster.com.

Well that’s a terrible picture when you can’t even see it’s “trick feature” I zoomed in as much as I could and still can’t see really see the Dpad to make any kind of opinion on it or it’s practical functionality/usefulness.

Agreed, I replaced it with a video from Cooler Master instead.

I give an A+ to Cooler Master for transparency. Very cool to be so direct, no glitz and glamour, just straight up the information and details in video format. I respect that, not many companies do it anymore, of if they do, its a 5 minute video with the same amount of actual info as that 1 min video. lol

I am seriously considering this mouse. Though, I never understand why they equate 24,000 DPI sensor to high quality, I mean, no one if there right mind goes above 3200 DPI or so.

Thanks see now that’s actually pretty clever to see in action.

so actually a MMO mouse that has less button than my Corsair Dark Core SE (Qi wireless) ... which, nonetheless, only has 3 button under the thumb... (+2 more under the index and one not well placed but still usable behind the scrollwheel )

also for the price i find that MM830 a bit meh (the screen is neat tho) 79.99$ global would probably translate into 85-95$ for me which would put it real close tho the actual pricing of the mouse i use (119~ but i got her for 79) without having any real incentive outside that mini status screen

I've lost track of how long I've had my G700, and it doesn't look like I'll be changing it any time soon. RGB is not what's going to make me, for sure...0

Edit: wait... damn it... EIGHT YEARS! The accursed thing is still like-new...

Too bad it looks like a Logitech G502 though. Albeit without the little screen.

and the G502 still has more buttons than the MM830 ... (it has the same amount as the Dark Core ... 3 under the thumb 2 under the index and 1 behind the scrollwheel ) and cost probably less

tho i am wondering why... "too bad" ... the G502 has the most perfect shape, imho, for a mouse (which is why i did choose the Dark Core since it has globally the same shape while the "sniper" button is placed in a tad more practical spot)

oh, i just noticed i gave your 6'667th thanks
