Cougar Launches the Conquer 2 Full-tower Chassis

Cougar today launched the Conquer 2, a premium ATX full-tower chassis it unveiled at Computex 2019. It features a "chassis within chassis" design, in which an inner SECC steel chassis holds all your components and slides into the outer chassis that has the case's industrial design that combines aluminium and tempered glass panels. Massive ARGB LED diffusers dominate the front portion. The inner chassis has a horizontally-partitioned layout. The upper compartment has the motherboard tray with room for CEB, ATX, and smaller motherboard form-factors. You get room for graphics cards up to 40 cm in length. There are 10 expansion slots in all, from which two are vertical.

The bottom compartment houses the PSU bay with up to 22 cm headroom; and two 3.5-inch drives. Two additional 2.5-inch drives can be mounted behind the motherboard tray. Cooling options include two 120 mm front intakes that can hold onto a 240 mm radiator, and three 120 mm top exhausts, which can hold a 360 mm radiator. Measuring 368 mm x 631 mm x 744 mm (WxHxD), the case weighs about 18 kg. The company didn't reveal pricing.

chfrcoghlan@bonehead123 where are you?
I'm here.......

Just trying to decide whether to laugh, cry, puke, or blow my friggin brains out ..O.M.F.G............:kookoo:

At 1st glance, I thought yowza, that maybe, just maybe, someone had finally decided to do some seriously hard thinking about case design & come up with something great, something truly different....

Too bad they f.A.i.L.e.D.....miserably.... 'cause all they did was take a dull, boring rectangular boxen and slap some prehistoric transformer-ish abortion of a conglomerated clustercrapped exterior around it...

Gotta give 'em an A for effort though :p

Hmmm... not bad, but I think it could have used a bit more RGB....

I have a hard time understanding why so many cases only support 120MM fans. Something this out there should have support for all radiators or any fan size you want.

Good ol Antec/Chieftec/Chenming Case. I remember TT Xaser.

Mine is full tower, supports EATX/ATX XL, since WS ATX died off quickly.

Either way this is what I would consider a Cool looking case like what Dell Alienware were but better.

Its out of the ordinary, not the typical non air flow RGB vomits out there

The chassis sliding feature is a nice touch. The overall design and aesthetic is not my style, but I can appreciate Cougar's courage to step outside of the mainstream.

I rather like it. That said, its a bit on the skinny side, so cable management might be problematic.

They might sell a few if they market it to millionaire fathers with estranged children under 12.

I really like it, but I've always been a fan of really futuristic looking cases like the antec striker.

The part I do hate tho is the rgb front, its ugly as, the shapes and everything is awesome but the colors are vomit

Better than others out.

I do feel the case should be fully enclosed with vents or mesh, wide open gaps allow moar dust in them

Love it! If only they could keep the MSRP under $100 (not likely)...
