GIGABYTE AORUS 15G and 17G Gaming Notebooks Feature Blistering 240Hz Displays
Here are some of the first pictures of the GIGABYTE AORUS 15G and 17G. The 15G is a 15.6-inch gaming notebook with a blistering 240 Hz IGZO Full HD display, while the 17G is its 17-inch sibling. Under the hood is a 10th gen Intel Core i7-10875H (8-core/16-thread) processor, 16 GB of dual-channel DDR4-2933 memory, and graphics options that include the GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q, RTX 2070 Super Max-Q, and the RTX 2060 (mobile).
A 512 GB NVMe SSD is standard issue, but you also get an empty 2.5-inch drive bay with SATA 6 Gbps. Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 3 (type-C unified port), three USB 3.2 gen 2 ports, 802.11ax + Bluetooth 5 WLAN, and 1 GbE wired. A 94 Wh battery keeps it ticking. GIGABYTE also has identical-looking cost-effective variants of the 15G and 17G, which have Core i7-10750H (6-core/12-thread) processors, GTX 1660 Ti (mobile) graphics, and "slower" 144 Hz IPS Full HD displays. GIGABYTE is expected to formally announce the AORUS 15G and 17G around April 23.
