that face when you can literally get a 1TB SSD for 90$, this will be dead on arrival. Hard drives just don't cut it anymore, SSDs make more sense because of shock protection and extremely higher IOPS and speeds.

I can make my own external 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD for a little more money & it still beat this piece of kit in terms of everything. 282g for the 2TB option sounds heavy for an external drive IMO... and the lack of a USB Type-C connector (for both ends) is kinda disappointing.
