ABKONCORE Releases The Ultra Silent Middle Tower Case S500

ABKONCORE today released the Ultra Silent Middle Tower Case S500 designed for ultra-quiet builds with a minimalistic design. The steel case features sound-insulating material on the top, front, left, and right sides to suppress vibration and noise generated inside the case, and provides perfect quietness. The case also comes with a bottom removable dust filter along with air intakes on either side of the front bezel.

The Case measures 205 x 420 x 430 mm, comes with 2 pre-installed 120 mm fans, and can accommodate ATX motherboards. Front I/O for the case consists of x2 USB 2.0, x1 USB 3.0, HD Audio, Mic, LED Control Button, power, and reset. The case can house up to 2 3.5" drives and 6 2.5" drives and has room for a further 2 120 mm fans at the front. Pricing and availability were not announced.

Haha, the screenshot provided of the specs says 2x USB 3 and 1x USB 2 front... when the actual case obviously only has a single USB 3... good job ABKONCORE.

Protip, case manufacturers: don't bother with USB 2 in this day and age. It's 2020, not 2000.

Lets not dismiss the 240 radiator mount on the rear where a single 120mm fan mounts.

Didn't know the brand until 3 months ago. Needed a cheap Micro ATX case and found an Abkoncore Zero mini for cheap. As mentioned already, their marketing may need some work, but for the money no complaints. The things are well built.

Nice to see Non-RGB-Tampered-Glass-Bullshit cases in 2020.

Just a shame the USBs are ontop and not in the front, could have been 10/10.

its a knock off fractal define with extra airflow restrictions for baking cookies. They gotta lotta sound proofing in this case, and that stuff is a bit of an insulator.

This case has a total of 120 mm of exhaust! Basically, as much airflow as the Antec Solo. (actually, the Solo used the PSU for exhaust as well so it would be this POS)

Edit: Ya know what? I'm tired of being nice. When a company brings out a turd, we should call it a turd. No USB C on the front panel. USB 2.0 on the front panel. Total lack of understanding of the need for airflow in a modern computer case.

Why the animosity? Because I know that we're going to get a post from someone who's shoved a high watt CPU and a high watt GPU in one of these and will be here asking why their CPU is overheating.
