Chieftec Announces Hunter ATX Gaming Case

CHIEFTEC, a world-wide renowned brand for reliable PC chassis and power supplies, today announces the GS-01B-OP, a new Gaming case named Hunter. The Chieftec Hunter offers a powerful, yet elegant gaming style with good airflow from the 4 pre-installed A-RGB fans, which can draw lots of fresh air thanks to the mesh front panel.

A-RGB lighting can be controlled with the buttons on the top of the chassis or via +5V A-RGB M/B Sync. The control hub (DF-501-V2) is connected via 4PIN PWM connector to allow M/B fan speed control for users to set their perfect balance between maximum airflow and silent operation. Mesh filtering in the front and bottom of the case, as well as a magnetic dust filter on the top protects the system from dust and keeps the build clean.

It warms my heart to know that out there, somewhere, Chieftec is still making cases.

Now all I need is for Guillemot to start making Hercules Prophet GeForce video cards again.

At least that gap in the front panel is mesh and not TG or acrylic. Still pretty restrictive though. And overall yet another boring box. When was the last time mid-tower case was interesting?

I think that the hope this is lost about us seeing any fresh innovations.
The supposed Gamer case this is now equal to A4 page this be constantly photocopied all day long.

I like the flat, clean cases compared to the alien spaceships that are often put out. To each their own.

Who said "interesting" is in any way equivalent to "alien spaceship"? Please don't put words in my mouth. I wholeheartedly prefer minimalist designs. The problem is that a) this design isn't that, but rather an attempt to add some sort of styling to a cookie-cutter mid-tower, likely made with 10-year-old tooling for the frame, and b) that we've seen nearly identical designs to this dozens of times.

If you want an example of an innovative and different ATX case, look at the Chimaera Industries Cerberus X, or their upcoming (EATX) CX2.

Wasn't intended in that manner. But I would definitely prefer this to it being 'gamerized' or the like.
