TechPowerUp GPU-Z v2.42.0 Released

TechPowerUp today released the latest version, 2.42.0, of TechPowerUp GPU-Z, the popular video subsystem information, diagnostic, and monitoring utility for PC enthusiasts and gamers. The latest release adds support for several new GPUs, including Intel Core "Alder Lake-S" iGPU, "Tiger Lake" server iGPU; GeForce RTX 3060 based on "GA104," RTX 3050 Ti Laptop, T1200 Mobile, GRID K340, M30, and Q12U-1. Support is also added for Radeon Pro W6800X. With this release, we're adding the ability to tell a "lite hashrate" (LHR) GPU from one that isn't. On RTX 30-series graphics cards with LHR silicon, the GPU codename field will include "(LHR)." For example, "GA102 (LHR)." Support is also added for resizable-BAR on Radeon RX 5000 series (when used with the latest drivers).

TechPowerUp GPU-Z v2.42.0 also makes it easy to collect sensor logs from your graphics hardware. Simply start it with the command-line argument "-log" followed by a filename, to log to that file. Several other issues were fixed, including application crashes when taking screenshots, a rare crash in the PCIe render test, a crash on some systems when preparing resizable-BAR support. The Radeon HD 5000 series from 2009 now displays the correct (ATI) logo. EVGA iCX sensors readings are more accurate. Radeon RX 6000 series (RDNA2) GPUs now correctly show DirectX 12_2 feature-level compatibility. Grab GPU-Z from the link below.

why we always need to download new exe file for new version, no other option to update within program?

When GPUZ is already open can we please have it automatically close the program when updating. It's a pain to go back manually & close the program. Please take a leaf & copy what CPUZ does, ie auto close & update.

Maybe because the computer i'm using is win 7, it does not work.
Will switch to laptop later & check, it has win 10.

i just bought a cheap, open box Asus PC with a 3080 tuf from best buy 2 weeks ago, apparently it's not LHR. i parted out the junk i didn't need and my 3080 tuf came out to $950 ish. i don't mine but it's still cool

We need an updated gpu z for Windows 11, with a modern UI: light and dark frosted glass.
Just do it, our bodies are ready.

I think I found the problem, affects only some older Radeons. Will have a fix out next week

It still detects 24 Unified Shaders in the UHD Graphics 750 (whatever shader means for Intel) instead of the 32 EUs.

Thanks. :) I wasn't sure if it was a detection issue, or some undisclosed weirdness around Intel's Xe EU architecture.

Any chance gpuz could include more readings for the AMD 6000 series please. Like memory temp and voltage, also proper gpu voltage reading instead of just constantly showing max voltage allowed in wattman. There are few other readings like soc voltage, gpu power play table limit. These are already properly read by HWINFO - it would be nice to have them all in one place in gpuz.

Nvida 3000 series have every single possible reading included.

Thanks!

AMD marketing decided to remove certain sensors from their API and requested tools developers to not expose them through other methods

Power play table limit is not a dynamic value, why should that be shown as sensor? I can look into adding this to Advanced -> AMD BIOS, might even be there already

That is really unfortunate - how is HWINFO getting around this?
