This 32-inch monitor is equipped with the latest features and technologies, including: native 4K Ultra HD resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, overclockable to 150 Hz, a 1ms response time (MPRT) and HDMI 2.1 to ensure compatibility with PCs and next-generation consoles.

Price is the same as Asus PG32UQ and MSI MPG321UR-QD, which is not surprising, since probably all 3 use the same AUO panel.

There aren't that many 32" 4K >120hz screens on the market, that's why the price is with a little bit of extra...

I don't understand how apple is capable of doing it in a freaking iPad but we can't get a monitor bellow 3k$ with mini led :banghead:

The electronics behind mini-LED and VRR are hard to get right. Plus, when many people buy cheap monitors, there's not much economy of scale left to apply to mini-LEDs. Personally, I question the whole future of mini-LED since it costs as much as OLED, but with more problems and not the same IQ.

From a technological point of view they are still using old technology enable to compete with CRT, monitors stagnated compared to TVs, Samsung TVs are great even though they're still using LCD, LG is in another level they had 4k120 TVs in 2019.

Well, it may seem so on the first glance. But then You look into the detailed specs and see, that almost no TV on the market achieves native 120Hz or higher, or they lack proper calibration tools etc...

TVs have different needs to fulfill compared to PC monitors, only lately the difference started to blur.

No USB-C, no KVM functionality? That's a bummer. Also, are they actually launching it this time? Wasn't this announced back at CES 2020? And wasn't that after first announcing it at the previous Computex, then pulling it back in order to add FreeSync or HDMI 2.1 or some such?

You clearly haven't been watching the monitor market if you were expecting a 32" 2160p144 MicroLED monitor at $1000. The only competition for that has an MSRP of $3800.

Given that I linked to it, yes? It's the only MiniLED 2160p144 monitor on the market, so it's literally the only logical competition for the XG321UG, which is also a MiniLED 2160p144 monitor.

Aren't all amoled panels PenTile? Ugh. No thank you. At least give us LG's WOLED - though that has its own issues, given that it has a WRGB subpixel layout.

Monitor OLED panel are made by JOLED. They don't mention on their website which arrangement they use, but since they bothered to build panels specifically for monitors, I would assume they made sure they're as sharp as they come.

Also, you managed to contradict yourself: all OLED panels are not pentile, since some of them are RGBW ;) Unless you were specifically talking about Samsung's AMOLEDs. But those don't have anything to do with monitors.

I recently bought a 50" Samsung QN90A Neo QLED to use as my monitor as it was on a nice deal, £890 delivered. 120Hz panel, VRR, great blacks, peak brightness is amazingly etc etc.

Couldn't be happier, Shadow of the Tomb Raider with HDR enabled is stunning.

Now I need a new GPU, but damn mind blown.

LG have had 120hz native TVs since the at least the C8.
