Genesis Announces Thor 303 RGB and TKL Keyboards
The Genesis Thor 303 RGB is the successor of the popular Thor 300 model. Available in two versions, Full and TKL, it provides users with the ability to exchange switches as well as RGB PRISMO illumination. The keys are finished with a special technique, so this unit will serve gamers for years to come.
The Genesis Thor 303 features a simple, aesthetic design. The model is based on a durable, aluminium frame, which includes exchangeable Outemu Blue switches. They are characterized by high durability of up to 50 million clicks. The switches' reaction time is 8 milliseconds, while the actuation force is equal to 55 g.
The Thor 303 RGB keys are topped with special caps, which thanks to the employed Double Injection technology withstand abrasion even after years of work. The unit also incudes the N-key rollover and hot swap functions, so that users can change the keys in the keyboard by themselves. The manufacturer has also included the RGB LED illumination with PRISMO effect - users can select from among 25 lighting modes. They can choose a proper mode in the included software, which can also be used to create macros and save user profiles. The Thor 303 RGB is also equipped with 11 multimedia keys.A second, TKL, versions of the Genesis Thor 303 will also be available. This model does not have a numerical keyboard, which means smaller size. The unit was especially designed for players who have less space on the desk and travel with their equipment often. So owners of this model will have 87, instead of 104 available keys.
The new mechanical Genesis keyboard will be available for purchase in the coming days. The price of the Genesis Thor 303 is set at 56,99€ / $64.99, while the TKL version of the Genesis Thor 303 will cost 49,99€ / $59.99. Both modes are available in white.

As a visually impaired person, I absolutely cannot be without RGB on my keyboard! And yeah, I get that just white backlighting would suffice but where's the fun in that, you know?
Sorry guys, no dedicated media controls and volume buttons? No purchase. Fail for you.
Besides that, I'm trying to get use to a mechanical keyboard since I'm use to typing on a laptop & keyboards that have low profile keys. Not even an old Apple IIc had such high profile keys on its keyboards.
