AMD Software Adrenalin 22.6.1 Released
AMD today released the latest version of AMD Software Adrenalin. Version 22.6.1 WHQL adds support for Windows 11 22H2. It also adds optimization for F1 2022. Among the issues fixed are a performance drop noticed when playing "Fortnite" with multi-threaded rendering and DirectX 11 API; a stuttering issue noticed in "Overwatch" with cards such as the RX 6700 XT; higher than expected CPU usage with Instant Replay; and missing fan-tuning options on graphics cards such as the RX 590. Grab the drivers from the link below.

"What is this? Did Win 11 already have a major update? Is this like the once a year big update that happens? It's out now?
All old drivers will work perfectly fine with the unreleased future Windows updates.
Can you list the games?
I'm going to be installing the new chipset drivers and this tonight when I get home from work.
Go to Control panel -> Programs and Features -> AMD Software - double click - uninstall - restart - start the new 22.6.1 driver package that is downloaded and follow the installation as it goes.
Most probably there is nothing wrong with the driver itself but either you screwed and messed the installation or there is something specific in your configuration.
You don't need DDU for simple driver update.
You need DDU if you remove an nvidia card and replace it with a Radeon.
I think that if there is something wrong, DDU can be a good helper.
For now I just use the AMD control panel to update but I won't hesitate to use DDU if there is something wrong happening xD
I usually use the AMD utility

www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-22-6-1-win7
and from here for Win10:
www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-22-6-1-legacy
but the Windows Driver Store Version included was v27.20.20913.2000 dated 8/2/2022 instead of v27.20.20912.1002.
so it looks like I got the revised/re-released 22.6.1 versions
