PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil Teased

PowerColor today teased its Radeon RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil flagship graphics card. Designed for those with a DIY liquid cooling setup, the Liquid Devil essentially combines an RX 7900 XTX Red Devil PCB with a factory-fitted full-coverage water block. The water block is sourced from EK Water Blocks, just like with the previous-generation RX 6900 XT Liquid Devil, and is likely based on the company's Quantum Vector series, which combines nickel-plated copper primary material with a clear acrylic top that's studded with addressable RGB LEDs; and capped with vinyl decals specific to PowerColor. The card probably features a metal backplate with an illuminated PowerColor Devil logo. It remains to be seen if the Liquid Devil is differentiated from the air-cooled Red Devil OC Limited Edition with slightly higher factory-overclocks or power-limits.

cool, cool cool cool.

I'd love to see more gpu's come with a 360mm AIO attached honestly. I mean really it would add like what $100 more to the cost if companies were honest. My NZXT H710 has room for 360mm AIO at top and in front, I just think it would be pretty cool to have a 360mm AIO no maintenance liquid setup on both gpu and cpu someday.

It will probably never happen, but eh.

boy I cant wait what to see what this looks like, do you think it will be some mix of Acrylic and Acetal with the tubes being connected on the side/middle of the card and somewhere written on it in some font it will say Liquid Devil? do you think that is a possibility? huh? I cant wait, im going to be so surprised by the look that will definitely warrant a tease like this...........

isn't that an EK brand symbol in the picture? if they teamed with EK its prob good quality for sure. but at the price point it will come in, prob better off with a 4080 air at that point, cause frame generation is insane for single player games.

I was looking at getting an ASRock Aqua 7900 XTX, but it was 2500AUD. The Powercolor XTX OC limited edition was $1979, Sapphire Nitro+ was $1999 and a reference MBA board and an EK block was $2250AUD. Given these prices, I pulled out my full cover 6900 and went with the Nitro+. Better board, highest power limit, cool enough. I can't see how this liquid devil won't be $2600AUD or more, which is an insane markup, even for someone like me who has had a custom loop for more than a decade.

That's why it's entitled as 'Teased', just like the hot girl next door flashing half a boob! Never happened to me before, but I can always dream....

360 means 400 total lenght + 25 for top fans clearance plus 30/60 for the top radiator and the case needs to be way way too big, 500x500 and very wide the power supply in the back. So I'm sticking to 240mm for the time being. I just need to fit everything in 30x30x15.

I mean, I don't see it being much different than the 6900XT Liquid Devil. The price will be just as high if not higher than the Asrock AQUA. I just hope they can manage to do it without warping the water block this time. I tried one of these in the past and got burned. It was a nightmare purchase and experience for me.

If you take a look at the picture more carefully, you can observe that it's an acryllic one. You can see the edge of the acrylic top glowing in blue from the RGB LEDs.

What about a reference board with a non EK waterblock? The price should be much lower.

No not really, only thing this flashes is how expensive it's going to be, and EK is involved.

I already bought the Nitro+. 3x8 vs 2x8pin. Better beefed up board, compared to the reference MBA. Temps aren't as good as water and it's a little louder than water, but it's an impressive card. Currently sitting at a 53% improvement in Timespy, vs my 6900xt. Will probably get that to a 60% increase with some more tweaking.

It should have some red accent there in my opinion just like the Air devils do.
