but yeah, the textures in halo2 are really not that high quality, did they taken them out of halo1?
here you can see how horrible the textures are: www.gamershell.com/pc/halo_2/screenshots.html?id=73

Agreed, it really looks bad even at that low resolution. I can just imagine how horrible those graphics would be in full screen.

Why would I want to see a Halo2 trailer, when I've already seen a Halo3 trailer, a UT3 Trailer, and HL2:ep2 trailer?

I wouldn't

The purpose of porting Halo to PC isn't necessarily for better graphics. They do update some textures, but they won't update ALL of them. The point is to bring the *gameplay* of Halo 2 to the PC. You also have to consider that the xbox has 64MB of RAM shared between both CPU and GPU... which doesn't give them a whole lot of texture space to work with. But it's undeniable that Halo 2 has some amazing graphics considering the platform it was designed for. Any PC gamer who's also a big Halo fan will usually ignore any graphical deficiencies as the gameplay aspect will dominate. It really is a shame it is only for Vista ATM.

Don't get the game and quit your bitching about graphics as it's not the point ;)
