FSP Energizes Computex with a Plethora of High-end Power Supplies

As the retail brand of Fortron, one of the largest power supply OEMs in the business, FSP is seated front-row center when it comes to PSU innovation. The company brought several of its latest ware to Computex 2023. Dessert first, and we begin our tour with the Cannon Pro 2500 W. This PSU has all the juice you'll ever need to chase down performance records with power limits thrown out of the window. It's able to switch 2.5 kW of power with 80 Plus Platinum-certified efficiency. It meets ATX 3.0 and PCIe Gen 5 specs, and is capable of running as many as four GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards smoothly. The PSU puts out two 16-pin 12VHPWR connectors, each capable of 600 W, and twelve 6+2 pin PCIe, which you can convert to a further two 12VHPWR. It also puts out four 4+4 pin EPS. It uses a 135 mm FDB fan to keep cool.

Don't need that much juice? The next best PSU is the Hydro PTM PRO 1650 W. This is another 80 Plus Platinum rated PSU that meets ATX 3.0 and PCIe Gen 5 specs, and puts out two native 16-pin 12VHPWR, each capable of 600 W. You get six additional 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors. The Hydro PTM PRO is capable of semi-fanless operation up to a certain percentage of load. It uses a 135 mm fan just like the Cannon PRO. The Hydro PTM X PRO 1200 W is a compact powerhouse, with 13 cm length, compared to the 15 cm of the Hydro PTM PRO 1650 W and the Cannon PRO. This too meets ATX 3.0 + PCIe Gen 5 specs, but puts out just the one 16-pin 12VHPWR with 600 W capability. It main PCB features industrial-grade conformal coating against dust/moisture, and stains over time. It offers an ECO mode that runs it completely fanless up to 30% load. It uses a 120 mm FDB fan to keep cool.
The Hydro Ti PRO 1000 W has all the juice you need for a high-end gaming PC build. It meets Cybenetics Titanium switching efficiency and Cybenetics Acoustic Lambda A++ ratings. The PSU is 15 cm long and uses a 135 mm fan for cooling, and and offers fanless cooling up to 300 W load. It puts out one 12VHPWR 600 W connector, two 4+4 pin EPS, and four 6+2 pin PCIe power. The company introduced a line of premium ATX12VO power supplies, with the Dagger PRO 12VO, which meets SFX form-factor, and uses a 92 mm FDB fan to keep cool. The latest version of Dagger PRO L 1200 W (conventional specs) meets ATX 3.0 and PCIe Gen 5, and offers an enormous power-density given that this is an SFX-L PSU. You get one 16-pin 12VHPWR connector, two 4+4 pin EPS, and at least four 6+2 pin PCIe power. The company also showed off mid-range Advan-series and Vita-series. PSUs with 80 Plus Gold and 80 Plus Bronze efficiency, respectively. These come in wattage-based models of up to 1000 W.
