Cougar Shows Us Cases, Chairs, and a Gaming Couch at Computex 2024
Cougar made a splash of orange this year at Computex. Their gaming chairs prioritize lumbar health, and their PC cases use advanced thermodynamic principles for superior airflow. Their panoramic view cases offer a unique twist on conventional designs. A standout product is the FV270, which features a polyhedral, tempered curved glass perimeter, offering an unobstructed view of the interior. This design allows users to showcase their builds more imaginatively. The FV270 enhances cooling with innovative angled fan placement and a lifted front panel that draws in cold air from below. It supports E-ATX motherboards and graphics cards up to 420 mm in length. The case also includes easily removable filters for dust protection and an optional illuminated rotating platform for displaying collectibles, adding a unique touch to the traditional panoramic case design.
The MX600 Mini RGB is another standout, with twin 160 mm fans in a Mini-tower with the option to expand to 10 fans. This compact case features a sloped airflow ramp and square perforations on the front panel increasing airflow by 11%. It supports a top 360 mm water cooling radiator, making it ideal for high-performance builds despite its small size. The MX600 Mini RGB accommodates graphics cards up to 380 mm in length, featuring seamless cable management with reverse connector motherboard compatibility and an integrated universal fan hub for coordinated PWM fan speed and RGB lighting control. The Airface Eco stands out with coned vents that significantly lower airflow temperature through the front panel. Dual 180 mm PWM fans maximize cooling without additional energy cost, reducing the environmental impact. The Airface Eco includes a quick-slide dust filter, removable top panel, and detachable front brackets for enhanced cooling and cable routing. It also features a modular front I/O for versatile port placement. Cougar's new gaming chairs, the Speeder and the Defensor, offer ergonomic designs for both gaming and work, with features like advanced lumbar support, 4D folding armrests, and high-density foam for maximum comfort and support.

As for their cases: not so much.
A friend of mine has one. Good price and the build quality of a case 4 times the price.
But for all the good they always end up short where it matters, at least in my experience.
I hope this new batch of designs is better than their previous ones.
Make this one with a wheel base and lift function and I can actually see a pretty comfy PC chair to relax in.
