EKWB Expands Compatibility of Cooling Products to LGA 1851 Socket

EK a leader in PC liquid cooling solutions, is pleased to announce full compatibility of our high-performance cooling products with newly released Intel LGA 1851 socket, supporting their latest generation of Arrow Lake processors. As a part of EK's commitment to future-proofing hardware and maximizing longevity for its customers, our current LGA 1700 compatible products, including Velocity², Magnitude, and Nucleus, will now seamlessly support the LGA 1851 platform without requiring additional brackets or modifications.

Through extensive testing and design optimizations, EK's LGA 1700-ready coolers have been verified to meet the demands of Intel's LGA 1851, ensuring that users can transition to the latest Intel processors with confidence and ease. Our cooling solutions are engineered to provide superior thermal management, delivering enhanced performance even under the increased thermal demands of next-gen CPUs.
Currently, we are unable to confirm complete compatibility for our Direct Die cooling solutions with this new platform, as further testing is essential to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Well, since it uses the same mounting as LGA 1700, incompatibility would be weird.

Wait, isn't EK in the state of bankruptcy? Their bank accounts were frozen a while ago...

I wouldn't trust anything coming out of EKWB until we have an independent report that everything is kosher again. I'll be waiting on GPU blocks from Alphacool and others when the new consumer Blackwell GPUs get released.

Don't order direct from EK, my order stuck 30 days without any reply. Third party maybe.

They're not quite done and dead yet to warrant a fork sticking, but they're definitely past the event horizon in my eyes. Another good example of how to not be a massive d*ck and fraud in the tech space.

I don't even know if anyone is still employed in Slovenia at this point, I think they'll just try to sell some Chinese rebranded stuff on their old "glory" from now on...

Hasn't that happened to pretty many companies in the consumer computer stuff industry?

Nah, Ithink most of the people don't follow such news where their problems were exposed, all they saw was continued media coverage of their releases - as far as even most PC enthusiasts saw, it's business as usual.

The news of EK's nonsense has been near impossible to miss. So no, no one is going to trust them.

sweet, I'll keep using my OG Velocity blocks I have. They might look a bit ugly, but its 5c cooler and easier to mount. Dare I mention really cheap too?
