Xbox 360 Gets Messenger Kit
The messenger kit is essentially a QWERTY keyboard add-on for the 360's controllers, offering better support for Xbox Live's MSN Messenger update. The keys seem to provide adequate, clicky feedback and are spaced well enough for fast typing while the pad also has a messenger button that can open up the messaging window onscreen. A new headset comes free with the package since the old headset is not compatible. The Messenger Kit will retail at 30$.

edit:
just acting like a ps3 fanboy, for i have ordered a ps3 ;).
Back in April.
I had to do it ;)
Oh yeah, they're coming with different colored controllers too!
And Gamespot doesn't always get the first hands-on with products by the way...
I always thought that was a nifty little add on for the 360. Small, compact and easy to use and right there, no need to switch out. Of course, you could use a wireless KB with the PS3...not too much a hassle <G>.
Also Home is meant to be walking and talking and sharing media...its like xfire for the pc. But compare xfire to Home....big difference IMO, and i bet in your opinion. Plus you can share photos on your rig, video on your rig...(now i can share top gear video's with my friends, and watch and talk at the same time). and there is so much more.
e3 showed a very promising future for the ps3, so no worries about games.
