G.Skill Releases New DDR2-1000 CL5 4GB Kit

Memory manufacturer G.Skill has recently introduced a new pair of DDR2 memories - the F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ. The new DDR2-1000 (PC2-8000) 2x2GB kit is rated to work at CL5-5-5-15 timings @ 2.1V. The new modules come with a lifetime warranty and will be available through G.Skill's authorized resellers and distributors worldwide. look nice, wouldnt mind some comparison benchies against other hi end ddr2 kits. i like the 2x2Gb modules tho. wonder how they oc.

im keeping a close eye on new modules being released since im upgrading to AM2+ this xmas and want the best ram i can possible get. was thinking ddr3 but hell, not at those prices

whats great about his is if you want better cooling you can go pick up Thermalright HR 07 Rev 2 which allows for 4 banks of ram slots to be occuppied and all cooled with the units, they come in tall and short heatpipe versions.

Id like to see some refinement on their 2GB kits with lower timings and voltage regs.
