microsoft ditch this uprated core model and make the pro cheaper and bring the price down of the elite model. this arcade verison is pretty much the pro but without the 20HDD.

:banghead: just silly

LOL, they will be full versions because they are crappy download titles, ie not 'real' XBOX360 titles. These are games that would cost you a couple of pounds/dollars if you were to download them from XBOX LIVE.

Why are you guys bitching about this? Microsoft upgraded the core model tremendously and reduced the price.

I heard the games were only demo verisons.

Anyone who buys this system, ie the core system, is wasteing their money.

TOO LATE!!!!

Halo 3 already went and stopped them cold on their feet with Half a billion dollars in sales now probably. This along with people buying Halo 3 will be the perfect combination for customers who want a cheap console that has excellent games, and if they dont really want to use xbox LIVE (yeah you would be crazy to not even use Xbox LIVE silver but hey some people (parents especially) dont feel comfortable having their kids do stuff on Xbox LIVE at all even if it doesnt involve multiplayer gaming.

Even if they are demos, I highly doubt people are buying Xbox360s for the purpose of playing UNO.

Beleive it or not some people I know of are buying the 360 as a means to watch movies in HD and no I dont mean HD-DVD I mean HD movies from the marketplace its very lucrative after all, though I wish there was a way for us to export these movies and videos that we PURCHASE (notice I didnt say RENT) to our computers so we can put them on a DVD using Nero 8.0
