Manhunt 2 Leaked by Sony Europe Employee

Last month, the highly controversial game, Manhunt 2, was leaked out onto various BitTorrent and other warez sites. After the breach was reported, Game Politics began tracking the leak down to its source and investigations revealed the culprit was an employee of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE). Take-Two released a statement today acknowledging the sleuth work:
Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that a former employee of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has acknowledged his responsibility for the unauthorized online distribution of an unrated play-test version of Manhunt 2 submitted for the European PAL PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.

i wonder how much these leaked copies will differ from the official copies and if they are still avaliable from the specific sits on which they were posted.

I did a quick search on www.isohunt.com and I can confirm that the torrent is indeed still up and healthy too.

How about this... look at what M$ did to the few people that got Halo 3 before they were suppose to... Locked the people's account untill 9999 or something like that. I would rather wait and play the game myself, and not wonder if the door is going to be broken down.

Wasnt that a hoax? I remember being like "LOL" when I heard about it and then googling it to find that it was staged. Or maybe my memory is failing me.

There was no docs tied to it was there?

Also is this the uncut one that got banned?

Games arnt freeware until pronounced so by the developer.

He's saying its legally free because the game is unreleased.
Its still under intellectual copyright.

If it isnt advertised as freeware, then it isnt.
