I hope its not too short.
The full game so far seems to be enjoyable.
Not long after you do the initial tutorial / shooting / target practice sequence, you get to run an obstacle course.
He tells you that their fastest is by "GAZ" at 19seconds
The screen lists IW's (the developers)fastest time, at 15.1seconds.
You can beat it though. The obstacle course is repeatable. After plenty of tries, you'll see where you need to be quicker exactly to improve your time(s). And the first targets you shoot will determine whether you are going to beat the 15.1 second record. If you know you won't, and want to start again, just chuck all your flash bangs and it restarts the obstacle course.
But, there's no reward for beating 15.1.
My best time is 14.85
I am glad to say though that the first mission, is reminiscent of the first mission of the original SOCOM game, if anyone remembers that, you'll see what I mean. It's a nice change of pace from the games that all start out in some middle-eastern setting. It gets pretty wild near the tail end of it, and pay close attention to the message on the screen, if you fail to make the jump into the helicopter. Hehe.
Just for the MP portion, I'm glad my g/f got it for me, and I would've got it for myself knowing now what I do know. There's all sorts of awards, challenges, you gain rank and xp, you can customize weapons to an extent, you can customize builds, etc. Great fun.
