Be great if you can save profiles to it, and have a button to swap them. ( so that you can take it to another PC, and it remembers the profiles)

That would be super looks so much better than the bog standard keyboards we have these days.

It will type like shit. ie there are no buttons so you won't feel anything you press. It's like a notebook keyboard but worse.

i've used touchscreens before, but never for gaming. I think i can see a point there... but imagine these on laptops replacing the screen and keyboard in one :D miniputer ftw!

As some can see, I've used Touchscreen monitors before just to type on here... So with that in mind, I think it would be cool to try that out! and if you don't like it just RMA IT! lol. The design is something different, and with that, there will be people that like it or just hate it...

after thinking on it more, all i can think of is that you'd need to learn to type softer.
If you bash away like a madman on a typewriter, this wont work so well - but if you can get soft enough to just brush the keys (laptop or softer) then you wont have any issues.

The one thing I loved about when I was growing up is this... Once we got our first computer, my mom made us sit down and type on typing programs for a hour a day. I never really understood why until typing on a touchscreen. If you know the placement of the keys, then all is good! The faster I go, the softer I brush the keys. But, that is me, and I don't know of anyone else that is like that... But if you are around touchscreens and tablet Pcs everyday, then you wouldn't even notice the difference when it came to this or these keyboards... IMO that is

it certainly looks cool. if these became mainstream i doubt id want one, i get the impression that they'd be quite smudgy, u know lots of fingerprints and gunk left on them from usage.
as for typing on one of these, i think u'd have to look at the keyboard alot more due to not having a physical point of refrence whilst typing link on a proper 'buttond' keyboard, be it slim or not.
imho, the most suitable consumer for these are people with way too much cash to burn, who are desperate to show off how big their e-penises are :laugh:

Yeah, you may be right, and maybe on the whole not knowing where the keys are. But, then there is also people who use tablet pc's all day long, or like for me, have to use a touch screen all day in order to post on here or do my own work... I think its them who will have the better time at this style of keyboard.

i agree, it just fancy not robust or designed to be made for gamers or people who type a lot , its a fancy keyboard for fancy ppl.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. This concept is awesome and it will serve several great purposes in the future, it just won't replace my desktop keyboard anytime soon.

+1 i guarantee the ppl that type fast will end up with like 4 words instead of a whole paragraph...amazing tech but the sensitivity would need to be turned up but that would even pose a problem because when i game my fingures are always on my keys...if i keep mine on that id be playing a game going all over the place and if i was like o ok ill just not rest my fingures on it then my reaction time would be crazy slow.
