Sorry I had no idea you've posted it. During the CES event I don't have time for the forums at all, not that I have in principle. I've mantioned it couple of times...I'm not too much of a forums poster/viewer.

LOL yeah got this email the other day.

Sweet desktop replacement. Alienware is one of the few that makes notebooks you can actually GAME on....just don't try to lug it through the airport or carry it for hours on end...you'll look like popeye

Someone should go in and make the highest end M15X and post $$ and specs...bet its a monster and $5,000 :D

Love how my Gen 2 case (~2001) looks, but the airflow is crappy at best. Probably why they re-designed the side intake and made it larger

An 8800 gtx sounds brilliant apart from the mega battery draining and mega hot it would run i thought my 7600 go was bad that would be positivly melting.

I think this model supports Hybrid SLI, so it will run to about 45min during heavy gaming and a lot during desktop environment when the 8800M graphics is off.

That's not a bad price, for Alienware. It's about the same price as a similarly configured 17'' Sager. Only if it had Peneryn, which i'm sure it will within a month or two.
