Aqua Computer Launches Aquagrafx G200 for GeForce GTX 280 and 260 Video Cards

With NVIDIA's next generation video cards just around the corner, German water cooling expert Aqua Computer has decided to launch a video card water block that will fit on reference NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 graphics cards. Supposedly, the water block will suit on GeForce GTX 260 cards too, but this information is not confirmed. Just like every other Aqua creation, the Aquagrafx G200 is a full-cover all copper block with G1/4" connectors and channels optimized for very low flow resistance. Now we only have to wait for the cards to come, until then this GPU block is not applicable. No word on pricing and availability yet.

Um... okay we don't even know how the card looks like yet... Seems like a five phase card, which means its going to use a LOT of power...

Is Aqua Computer trying to tell us that Nvidia are to slap on yet again another shitty fan that must be replaced, breaching the warrenty ?

The 8800GTX Flagship card of the last batch had the shittest stock cooling ( including standard bios settings ) i had ever seen, and the use of 3rd party software or alterations to bios was required to pump the fanspeed to 100% which still wasnt decent enough . . .

AMD/ATi seem to have the fanshit under control. You dont see aftermarket water cooling products as being viable because the fan on the recent AMD/ATi cards are perfect.

I hope Aqua Computer send me specs on the card they have been working on! Obviously they have been playing with new toys!

I couldn´t stand the sound of my 2900XT and went to WC. The HD3870 cooling was ok, but the singleslot solution on the HD3850 sucked too... ;)

Rofl on that.
AQ used semi/full aluminium-blocks and G 1/8" connectors not more than one year ago.
