Cooler Master Unveils the Silent Pro M Series Power Supply Units

Cooler Master today announced a new range of power supplies dubbed Silent Pro M. Here are some of the features you can expect to see in the new powerful single rail Silent Pro M PSUs:
  • single rail 12V rail (up to 50A)
  • Modularized cable design to eliminate clutter and improve airflow inside the chassis
  • Two 6+2 pin PCI-e connectors for multiple graphic card set up
  • Energy efficient design that meats 80 Plus requirements
  • Compliant with Intel standard Intel ATX12V V2.3 & SSI EPS 12V V2.91
  • Green power design that meets energy star, blue angel requirements
  • Super silent operation with intelligent 135mm fan speed control
  • Copper + aluminum heat sink design which results in more efficient heat transfer and dissipation.
  • Flat cable design for easier cable arrangement
  • Japanese-made capacitors
  • Unique silicon pad provided with the PSU's package

A rubber gasket to prevent vibrations from transferring to your case, and causing noise.

Gheeez...less than 16 dB...now that is quite a claim. Someone needs to verify this, but if it's true, it might just be the most quiet active PSU yet.

Cooler Master is getting really serious with their PSUs now. I do have one con, Id like to see them include 2 6 pin that they have with 2 8 pin connectors to boot. Or 4 6 pin connectors with 2 2 pin connectors to make it an 8 pin connector. Im not fond of taking Molex and turning them into 6 or 8 pin connectors which looks tacky, takes up space, and impede air flow minorly.

Any idea on cost? They're probably the cheapest 500w's you can get here (not including Hyena and TASK). Would be nice to get a modular PSU for a bit more :D
