The AMD Mobile Athlon 64 2800+ was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in August 2004. It is part of the Mobile Athlon 64 lineup, using the Odessa architecture with Socket 754. Mobile Athlon 64 2800+ has 512 KB of L2 cache and operates at 1800 MHz. AMD is building the Mobile Athlon 64 2800+ on a 130 nm production process using 106 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Mobile Athlon 64 2800+, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 82 W, the Mobile Athlon 64 2800+ consumes a good deal of power, so decent cooling is needed. AMD's processor supports DDR1 memory with a single-channel interface. Neither SSE3 nor SSE4 instruction sets are supported, which will lead to problems with games not starting.
