The Intel Pentium G2100T is a desktop processor with 2 cores, launched in September 2012. It is part of the Pentium lineup, using the Ivy Bridge architecture with Socket 1155. Pentium G2100T has 3 MB of L3 cache and operates at 2.6 GHz. Intel is building the Pentium G2100T on a 22 nm production process, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on Pentium G2100T, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 35 W, the Pentium G2100T consumes only little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR3 memory with a dual-channel interface. For communication with other components in the machine, Pentium G2100T uses a PCI-Express Gen 3 connection. This processor features the Intel HD integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the Pentium G2100T, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
