The Intel Atom N450 was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in December 2009. It is part of the Atom lineup, using the Pineview architecture with BGA 559. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 2 threads. Atom N450 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1667 MHz. Intel is making the Atom N450 on a 45 nm production node using 123 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Atom N450, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 6 W, the Atom N450 consumes extremely little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR2 memory. This processor features the GMA 3150 integrated graphics solution. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
