The AMD E1-1500 is a desktop processor with 2 cores, launched in January 2013. It is part of the E1 lineup, using the Zacate 2 architecture with Socket FT1. E1-1500 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1480 MHz. AMD is making the E1-1500 on a 40 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on E1-1500, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 18 W, the E1-1500 consumes very little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a single-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 7310 integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the E1-1500, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
