The Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2140 was a desktop processor with 2 cores, launched in June 2007, at an MSRP of $74. It is part of the Pentium Dual-Core lineup, using the Allendale architecture with Socket 775. Pentium Dual-Core E2140 has 1 MB of L2 cache and operates at 1600 MHz. Intel is making the Pentium Dual-Core E2140 on a 65 nm production node using 105 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Pentium Dual-Core E2140, which limits its overclocking potential.
