The AMD Sempron 3400+ EE SFF was a desktop processor with 1 core, launched in May 2006. It is part of the Sempron lineup, using the Manilla architecture with Socket AM2. Sempron 3400+ EE SFF has 256 KB of L2 cache and operates at 1800 MHz. AMD is making the Sempron 3400+ EE SFF on a 90 nm production node using 81 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Sempron 3400+ EE SFF, which limits its overclocking potential.
With a TDP of 35 W, the Sempron 3400+ EE SFF consumes only little energy. For communication with other components in the system, Sempron 3400+ EE SFF uses a PCI-Express Gen 2 connection. Although the processor doesn't come with integrated graphics, certain motherboards with compatible chipsets can provide this capability.
The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
