It would be handy if you could provide links to this stuff, saying which ones you use.
If creative complains, we'll just have to delete the links from here - as far as i am aware, so long as we dont crack the software (30 day trial) we arent doing anything illegal.

Im sure that by tricking the software to work creative feels your cracking their software and thus breaking the law........not that i really care, creative sucks and needs to die

but thats not how creative will see it, like companys who put DRM intheir games that force the user to find a crack toplay a game they payed for, the games publisher still feels your a pirat if you crack the game even if u payed full price for it.

i dont hate tpu, i just dont like tpu's image hosting, the added water mark many times covers stuff i would like to see.

People ASK ME TO COME BACK AND POST, If i hated TPU i would do what i did with Neowin, and other sites, just never go there.

my issue with tpu has at least in the past been certen mods who at least use to pull crap that they would then bann other people for doing(like trolling).

BTW if anybody wants to know, I now regret backing APK after his tantrum, I have now seen how much of a CHILDISH PRICK he really is, still think the person that admitedly trolled him should have stayed banned as well though.

Remember: all WE have done, is modify text files in a *realtek* driver package. we aint done diddly to creatives drivers OR software.

If these drivers magically turned a soundblaster 16 with a 1x/2x cd-rom into a x-fi with a blu-ray burner then creative would have something to worry about.

This thread is about the modded realtek drivers, and how to get creative apps working with them on realtek cards. IF people have ideas advice or suggestions go ahead, but stop with the other barely related stuff.

two things.

1. we havent modified creatives software in any way. we simply install it.

2. this is creative... you actually think they read whats on their forums? took em years ot notice daniel_K, and they only cared once he enabled real time digital encoding, cause they were about to release a product to make people upgrade for that specific feature

damn so the Dan K vista audigy software pack worked for vista 64bit? I actually had those but since they were x-fi I didnt try them. I got fed up trying to get em to work so I found my old audigy se and threw it in with Dan K's x-fi drivers.
