I'm using EVGT only for testing, when I figure out stable values, I always flash them. So yeah, it's flashed. Did you changed the values in Voltage IC or only in Exact mode?
Here's the screen you wanted

I don't understand how adjust voltage in ''Voltage IC'' could you help me please?
I'm not sure if my english is good enough for that but I guess I can try :)
In voltage tab, open up Voltage IC and find the values corresponding to those shown in Exact mode.

You only need to change the voltages in Voltage IC, the Exact mode values will stay unchanged. Card will use the values stored in Voltage IC. So, for example, I want to change the 2D voltage, which in Exact mode is represented by value 1,06V (in the BIOS file you send me). So I open up Voltage IC menu and find 1,06V (1,0625 real), then I will change it to the value I want the card to use, i.e. 1,05V and save the settings by pressing OK. I won't change the value in exact mode, 1,06V will be shown there, but the card will use 1,05V, since I overwrote the voltage register, where 1,06V was before.
Hope it gives any sense :)

I guess it is :toast: Did you try to flash it? If yes, let me know if its stable or not when switching from 2D to Extra :)
Btw I am surprised by the VDDC current you are getting with that undervolt, I have 4,4Amps @ 850mV and I have only GTX260.

Completely stable, just tested with furmark

I'm afraid to flash lower than 1v for 2D .

How would this cooler be on a gtx 260 216 55nm OC'd (c:655/m:1050/s:1408)? vrm temp wise with using artic's heatsinks etc.. Can't see what my vrm temps are stock but I'm sure there alot lower than all the 65nm cards. Just want to know if I would be all good getting this vga cooler without going through trouble tweaking or messing around with it changing heatsinks etc..

Wow, lots of replies, when I missed just a day :D Will get back on them shortly.

55nm cards have different VRM placement and Accelero VRM sink won't fit. See post #270 (ŀ for your card) for more instructions:
Accelero Xtreme GTX 280 mini review and support

Anyways, it will be much easier to sink with regular ramsinks or similar.

you all can congratulate me - i just recieved my sample of ArcticCooling MX-3 thermal compound (large tube with 4g).

Hey, I want that stuff too :) Well still old paste left but might be the next tube I get.

Stable as f*ck , my accelero is holding it well :toast:

1.05V for load  That's pretty impressive, but test with 3DMark Vantage, that boat cloth didn't like too low 3D voltage :)

And yes, these cards are way overvolted on stock. I've been running 3D with 1.5V and 2D with 1.0375V for a while now. Have to lower at least 2D more, once I flash new fan profiles in.

Here is the case gallery link:

That's how a computer should look from the inside, good job :D

Thanks :)

i hope that will help. it was a bit hard to understand how to make those rules to work but then after 2 hours of work i got everything working. now my card is downclocked to save energy when surfing web or typing documents and watching movies, and overclocked when i play games or work with 3d models :) and it's all automated.

I removed the nTune. It didn't let my card go to 2D mode and started spinning the fans at full speed even on idle. But the dynamic fan setting worked fine before that when I tested it with FurMark.

nice case you got there - which model is that?
i spent whole day last time to hide all wires in my case - almost none of them can be seen there :)
i had to cut 2 holding places for hdds out to make my videocard fit with this accelero :shadedshu

It's Xigmatek Midgard, plenty of room in this, no need to cut stuff :)

Nice house:toast:
The time spent on cable management in that Midgard case really shows. Makes it all worth the effort.
I will be checking this out further in the case gallery! The case has some similarities to my 902, the layout, black interior and cable management holes in the tray. But it has a lot of tool-less drive and card mounting features, which the 902 doesn't.
Looks good with the orange fans and the blue DS3. Getting back on topic, your Accelero-equipped 280 fits in there like a glove, and should have good airflow in that case:cool:

Thanks, it's a bit bigger than my previous case in both ways, GTX 280 now has room to breathe in this one :) Rest of the pictures upped finally, had to figure out how to use the case gallery :p

killswitch & Kursah have it on 65nm GTX 260. There are temps on the previous page with the Accelero VRM sink in action. That was done in high ambient though, so take it to consideration. If you have below 25C ambients, you should be fine with the vrm sink.

It'll fit more than well, as it's 5.25" spaces from top to bottom, as long as you don't have a HDD in that space.

I have it on Gigabyte DSR, that's the same, except both PCI-E 16x slots are one higher than your motherboard. Previous post has case gallery link that has above shot too. Short answer is, the cooler tkes 3 slots, so you'll have the orange PCI-E slot free before sound card.

It's not hard :) Hardest part is taking the stock cooler off, but W1zzard has nice pictures on the GTX 280 reviews where the clips are. Check post #270 before you install.

OnBoard: Dunno the exact temperature, but it was hot as hell that day. My best guess is around 28-30 centigrade.

Sure I wouldn't mind :) Here ya go.
http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/786/fanspeed.png
Changed the fan control mode to automatic, since i don't fully understand what each value does in dynamic mode.

Yep, guessed you had high ambients, 27C had a big impact on VRM temps, compared to the colder days 24C.

I'll try and modify your setting to fit what I want next time I flash my card (edit: will be after this post). Looks pretty spot on, but think I'll make max fan speed about 80%.

Edited my previous bios and these are what I settled for:
Upped the max temps a bit, so that fan wouldn't hit 100% | Lowered 3D voltage (16) a notch, old 2D voltage to video voltage (18) and that 1V for 2D just feels nice.

You have fixed the fan at 40%? Could you set it to 60-70% and post the VRM temps again? Btw 78W power consumption under full load in FurMark, that is effing awesome :) One last thing, your GTX280 uses the "old" 65nm GT200 core, am I right?

You have fixed the fan at 40%? Could you set it to 60-70% and post the VRM temps again? Btw 78W power consumption under full load in FurMark, that is effing awesome :) One last thing, your GTX280 uses the "old" 65nm GT200 core, am I right?

My fans run via fancontroller not via onboard. (I killed the 4pin onboard lol)
I always run the same speed for the fans, I don't know how many RPM but I turn it as low so I can't hear it. (7.5v?) Yes 65nm GT200 ;)

now running 3dmark vantage for you onboard ;)

3Dmarkvantage stable :toast:

Cool :toast: You got one nice piece of silicon there, it would have been used for a GTX 290, if GPUs went like CPUs :) Think mine needs 1.125V for those clocks to be stable, but the drop from stock voltage is just mind boggling.
