X1900gt Unlock Bios Found!!!

My His is working great wiht only 12 pipes but....

face it. there might be 1 X1900gt card left in the world that will unlock, and it lies in the shelves at a remote computer/gas/diner shop in gol in norway, priced @ 700$ (on sale)

the ones that have been unlocked have the pro "engineering sample" core
if you don't have one, you can't unlock.

and if you have the new Rev. 2 Cards. (big red cooler that looks like the X1950xxx ones) forget it.

the only hope is that someone with above good electronic skills gets "down and dirty" with a mulitmeter and a solder apparatus and fomehow finds a magical way that unlocks the 4 pipes (that might not even work in the first place)

i cannot upload my bios,

my id is 580LE 0x724b,but my gb pipe select is 0x227E4,

which is not what has been a successfull unlock.also not what ive read for the unsuccessful ones.
i have my bios in zip format,and would actually love to be able to unlock it myself,if its possible.
it is the ominous red beast of the rev2 clan.from HIS.

well youre a ray of sunshine today (joking)
thats not what i wanted to hear but ill have to live with it.
would they disable it on die or on the attached wafer circuit?that would be the only way to keep a transistor mod from working.but thats going through alot of effort to unlock something.
if they cut the extra pipes with a laser that would foul you up.

it may be a little harsh, but it might just help keeping those "unlock my card magically please" noobs (that just waits until its good and tested before they can leech of the labour (testing etc) others have worked hard for) away or atleast from posting every page it isnt explained that you cant unlock unless you have the pro core..

isnt my core id the pro core?and someone has got to be the bringer of omen,and sour milk
as i understood the 580 LE was the pro core but my gb pipe select is not the same as tofu's.

apparently the gb pipe select is the definition of capability as others have typed.

Look to my card with 12pipes i change the vcore with 1.400 and memori timings to 11.

you cannot unlock the pipes in that card.your id as it is mentioned at the beginning of this thread must be 0x3xxx.
the 3 apparently defines the card as capable of a bios mod to unlock pipes.

There is so much things to learn.... But hopefully ATItool will be abel of clocking it later, right? BETA 16 can but it is unstabel. Is it possibel to unlock and mod x600 xt card?

never owned one.x600 is not a great overclocker and beta 16 may not be the version that works best,try beta 14.
