do not try the 570 bios on the 580.

awww dude! you may have messed your card up for good.youll need to boot into ati flash with the original bios and try that.you may wind up buying a new card.

go through your bios and make sure all the settings are correct for vga/pcie etc,you may even want to reset your bios.

I think he just killed his GPU. I have dead x600pro and excellent clocker x800GTO Fireblade. If you plug PCI card as primary, and PCI-E card as secondary, programs wont recognize cards at all. x800GTO have 0.02Vgpu

well,it half works,not good.tofu u still hangin?how do you get atiflash to recognize it?
on a side note ATI should make the firmware a bit more maleable.dx10 is coming up and those cards will outclass this gen and then some so its not like well outdo 128 shader processors on the x1900 anything.

Got my x1900gt rev1 today.
Mild overclock 600/810 with stock cooler and stock TIM. Now ill put AS5 temporary, until ill make my modded cooler.

TOFU - Ive got a Club3D 1900RX that has always shown up as a GT since i installed it. Ive just saved my bios and run it in RABiT and have the same device ID as you (724B, 0B12, 1002) but the description is just randomness... (v/PN-113-B04202-101, desc- B04201 BIOS).

Would you be able to o/c and unlock this bios/card (if so, can you pls )??
