i have a stable 4.5 @ 1.20 volts and i haven't even tried pushing it higher or lowering voltage more yet.
let me guess , that is you holding the cpu ?
5. Set cache voltage option to manual mode and set it to 1.15v
.
that what i was trying to say . its working on 1.150 v
2. Set each of the 4 Core multipliers Ratios to 44 (This will get you 4.4GHZ. Good starting point)
why not sync all cores ?
OK, I thought you now had your stable overclock? Your cooler issues are a seperate thing,
yes but i have achieved lower temps with 4.5ghz and i added things
am dealing with the heat to see if i need to use the cooler on extreme or on custom . as its having issues
on extreme
http://community.thermaltake.com/index.php?/topic/203-water-3-extreme/
buggy software .
ill post my final results . leave it open in case i needed to ask about another thing so i dont have to
start another thread . it will be my personal guide .
Core multipliers Ratios to x45 targeted speed 4.5GHz
3. Set min cache 35 max cash Ratio to 42 by hunter recommendation .
4. vcore 1.270 v
5. cache voltage to 1.15v
6. Leave System Agent, Digital and Analog I/O to auto
i dont know anything about that is it on auto already ?
8. eventual Input voltage to 1.79v hunter recommendation
Digi+ options:
Load Line Calibration to Level 6.
cpu power current 120%
that is about it .
been testing all day now
on extreme 75c / custom 79
4c difference to throttle the fans from 1500 rpm to 2000
i tested 3d mark 11 then playing star citizen on high for 15 min
it was 60 on extreme about 64 on custom .
i guess from what i tried extreme is more effective over 75 c i dont see what will
push my chip over 70c now . ill go on custom . save cooler consumption and avoid driver bug .
this is it . if i need anything else tell me plz . see you guys in star citizen the multi player is out
