i'm using 344.48 on 2 gtx560's plays bf4,titanfall,ghosts etc on ultra without any issues. have you tried a clean install - DDU/remove certs-regs keys? i seem to be the only confirmation that has posted, can anyone else confirm 344.48 please?

Got it working! Turns out I had the 2 cards, plugged into the wrong rails, switched the connectors around, on the front of the cards, and BAM, GTX 560Ti SLI, BF4 Ultra no AA min 50 fps max 111 fps. :D

Didnt seem to work, crashes when i apply the SLI in the control panel. I also ran DDU software and CCleaner before a clean installation of the 344.48 drivers.

MSI GTX 760 4GB
MSI GTX 760 2GB

MSI Z97 G45

Maybe driver issue ?

Is it possible to SLI a Nvidia GTX660 with a Nvidia GTX970? Will the VRAM size of the 660 be a limitation? For example, since the 660 is a 2 GB card and the 970 is a 4 GB card, will I be limited to 2 GB of VRAM?

No. The boards are different architectures. The cards need to be the same product. A GTX 660 will only SLI with another 660, a GTX 970 will only SLI with another 970.

What's the difference between these 3? Just different hardware revisions? Or the same card with different amounts of VRAM?

I have the 11C0 version of this card, not very useful for SLI with a different card...

They are three different products
1185 is the GTX 660 OEM - it is a cut down GK 104 GPU (1.5GB or 2GB of vRAM, 1152 cores, 192-bit or 256-bit)
1195 is the GTX 660 Revision 2 - it is a further cut down GK 104 ( 3GB vRAM, 960 core, 192-bit)
11C0 is the standard consumer GTX 660 which is GK 106

Nice, suspected it was a power issue of some sort.

could you please state the reason for this post? ember answered this question on the previous page stating that the 970+980 have the GM204 chip and might work and the first 3 letters of the devs appear to be DEV13C. have you tested these 2 cards together or did you just feel like posting "No way"?

The MSI Z97 G45 mobo supports SLI and X-Fire, don't think you need the DifferentSLIauto patch. those cards should sli on that board without it, think the vram on both cards will run at 2gb though.

I´m sorry, if someone has already asked, but ... does differentSLI needs Hardware virtaulisation, too? Does it need SLICP? What can I remove from HyperSLI and what schould I keep if I come from HyperSLI?

Thanx,

Sukram.

Ive set them up normally at first with the SLI bridge but its not detected in the Nvidia Control Panel

Hi Ember,

Great tool. I'm using it to make my MSI and EVGA 970GTX work in SLI. While that works great, unfortunately stereoscopic 3D performance and rendering is completely bugged.
In every game the gpus would work at 100%, but the performance stays the same as with single GPU. In some games the 3D doesn't render properly either.

For example:
With single GPU + 3D I get 38 fps average in GRID2.
With double GPU + 3D I get 36 fps average in GRID2 and both gpus are working at 100%.

Furthermore in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light there is great 3D quality with Helix mod when SLI is disabled.
With SLI enabled you see Lara and some other objects double, there is ghosting, you can see it immediately in the main menu if you move the mouse.
There is no change to convergence, depth or frustrum that can fix this.

Do you think this could be related to your patch?

This is super work! You should work for nvidia and earn tons of cash :toast:

Just one problem, i got it working on EVGA 8800 512mb and Gainward 8800 1024mb. Played some mirrors edge with the GPU load nicely ballenced and all maxed out, so sli defiantly worked great.

BUT, after i rebooted and put SLI bridge on i get BSOD 0x00000116 and the nv*** file. So i think i screwed up a step. Will try again tonight and also used the modded 320.18 if necessary. Will report!

Are you doing this because your motherboard is not SLI capable? If so, then it could be the board or the patch.

My board is SLI capable and my SLI bridges are OK. I'm coming from 670GTX SLI.
Then I tried to match the EVGA card with an Inno3D card and that worked fine. I did not need any patch. I had to return the Inno3D card because it was overheating.
Now I have the MSI card, but it won't work in SLI with the EVGA card. With this patch regular SLI without stereoscopic 3D enabled works fine.
In 3D mode there is definitely something wrong. Both GPUs are working, but the SLI visual indicator is not showing and performance is not better.

In the Control Panel with the patch enabled it still gives me a notice: For optimal 3D performance, connect the SLI-ready graphics cards with an SLI connector. Is this normal?

Yes, that message would show for me too. You are meant to have the bridge connector(I think Nvidia still requires this?) for any SLI setup.

I'd be concerned about why the EVGA and INNO worked together, where as the problems started when you tried to use the MSI card.

Hmm, in addition I discovered that it doesn't matter whether I have the SLI bridge connected or not. The performance stays the same and the drivers will tell me that the bridge is not connected.
Maybe this means that the MSI card actually has broken SLI connectors?

I hope that someone can confirm here that 3D vision works and scales properly when using this patch. If that's the case, then I'm probably going to have to send my MSI card back, because the EVGA and the bridge are confirmed working...

I had similar to begin with, where it seemed like the bridge wasn't useful. Then after a bit of playing it became obvious that it is.

Whether your card has broken connector, you'd have to speak to them.

Hopefully someone will comment on 3d vision.

IIt works, sort of. EVGA 8800 512 & Gainward 8800 1gb.

I can restart BSOD free if i disable sli before restart or shutdown.
Strange thing is the first time i dit this and afther that tried another restart with sli enabled and it worked! Then tried connecting SLI bridge, that screwed up the BSOD free rebooting...

Restarted procedure. And can reproduce. Will try now if i can trick it again and keep rebooting with it enabled after doing the on off trick.
If not always turning it on and of seems a good enough for me work arround to to enjoy the sli speeds :D

EDIT: It works but i'm unalbe to use the sli bridge. (I think it doesn't matter much because the 2x8800 are on a GB 990FX with 16x and 8x pci express) For extra stability i turn windows composition of and turn sli on and of everytime i want to game or restart also should turn of sleep, one time it resumed good. The other time it hanged and screwed up stable reboot.

So with a liddle fiddling i got it working an rock stable. allready played different games for e few hours. So looks good!
Again all the internets to OP ! :)

EDIT2:
Tried switching cards around. Gave more stability WITH bridge on at desktop. But gave artifacts and crash in games.
For some reasing afther all this playing arround i'm able to leave sli on and reboot.
Slot 1: EVGA 8800GT 512mb
Slot 2: Gainward 8800GT 1024mb
Performance is insane :D

So I got the Sli working by changing the graphics card around on the motherboard by putting the lowest vram card first but now when I launch a game in fullscreen mode the screen goes black and I can hear the game. The only way I can get the screen back is to open task manager and end the process which isn't responding. Ive tried Heaven Benchmark in windowed mode and SLI works perfectly.

Just was about to say to you that the card with lowest VRAM needs to be primary. (i do SLI 512 - 1024mb)
Witch driver do you use?

Try WITHOUT the SLI bridge. If i use the sli bridge i also get 9/10 crash and black sceens..
I myself cant test other sli bridge and the bridge was new so is suspet that installing a bridge with different VRAM cards makes them more unstable..
Without the sli bridge my sli setup is 99 procent stable.

I have the latest Nvidia drivers. So I tried to run the SLI without the bridge and 99 percent of the time the game loads up to a black screen or something similar which usually kicks me back to the desktop giving me display drIver has stopped working but has been restored

Try clean install of drivers with version 337.88, not the latest.
OP's readme suggests that is the latest supported version in autopatcher, thats also the driver I use. Maybe that will help?
