How do you monitor your PC.

These are the programmes i display on my 2nd monitor (Hanns G 24 inch) when i am gaming I usually play on a 42 inch HDTV

No water cooling for me just lots of fresh and dusty air. ( XIGMATEK 1283)

i used to do as you do but dual monitor setup make for a bigger power consumption, so for a monitoring it's kinda a waste (not a waste if it's for a surround setup ofc :roll:

)

and sometime i use my Shield with Trigone remote system monitor on and MSI afterburner on my G2

Just did 2 laps of Silverstone in my Bugatti Veyron to heat things up a bit. NFS Shift 2

Any comments or observations are welcome.

I used to do this. But lately I just dont give a ****. If it works fine great, if not I look into it. I will probably use open hardware monitor to monitor my temperatures when summer comes. And sometimes I open MSI afterburner to see how much VRAM a game is using.

The 2 widgets in W7, GPUz of course, but most of all :
Intel XTU, used it for many years now. Excellent program, very light, accurate, and can be an Overclockers dream :toast:

A few OEM's have bundled with it for some time now, and even a couple have gave it their "Style" Theme .
This PSA has Dave's blessing as he has used it for many years also, love it during testing :rockout:

Logitech G510 keyboard + LCDSirReal

I love the "RIP" button that pops up when an application stops responding that tells you what app it is and lets you force it close without having to open up task manager. Especially convenient when a fullscreen app freezes.

Really been liking XTU, gives far better control than in the BIOS, which is pretty stupid TBH, but it seems to be a bit finnicky when it comes to selecting the profile I want. For other monitoring I use a combination of NVidia inspector and HWinfo, HWinfo works really well with the Rivatuner thingy, definitely recommend giving that a try if you are limited to a single monitor.

I don't monitor anything (laptop user). I usually check taskmanager for unwanted stuff and sometimes I check SMART reports with crystaldisk.
If laptop runs good when I code or do some complex floating point operations then everything's ok LMAO.

I'm not into pc gaming/overclocking and all that. Only programming and web browsing. So all those numbers make no sense to me anyway
