I hear the disappearing car bug can be avoided by storing cars in the garages you buy and not the home garages YMMV

Yeah, I have only had cars deleted from my home garage (Mainly Franklins)

I really hope there will be some sort of mod that allows cars to go beyond their speed cap, I feel like the top speed is lacking a little bit, especially on some of the sports/super cars. I don't like how theres a limiter... Anybody hear anything regarding this?

Saw a few players spawning random stuff like crazy in online. I don't care it someone cheats in single player, but it is not a good thing to cheat online.

Mods are being worked on. I just hope that there is someway to keep them offline only.

Kind of surprising there wasn't something initially to prevent this from happening online.

Poking around on google as well, there seems to be lots of disscussion/complaining from people who would like to see more realistic speed caps... just because a car is pissed at me doesnt mean he should be 50MPH faster than my fully souped up Cheetah....

Hopefully there will be some cool car mods coming.

2) What's wrong with mouse? I set it to raw input (it might be the default, too), and the cursor moves in extremely sluggish way and with a delay. It's horrible!

I have that same issue with the mouse but find that direct input works perfectly well

I'm pretty sure you need to turn off the "auto centering" options.

What auto centering? What does that do?

Also, the car physics are completely ridiculous. It feels overdone a LOT. I mean it might be good in essence, but it's like they bumped everything by 500%.

I answered this in the conversation you started. I forgot to say though that I did have one minor AI bug in the mission where Trevor takes out the O'Neills, where one guy went momentarily invisible, but hopefully The Paleto Score will play OK.

Update on the car bug.
They gave the cost fo the car back, but nothing for the upgrades.

What auto centering? What does that do?

I believe its a camera setting? When your not moving the camera with the mouse it will auto center the camera for you.

I have that same issue with the mouse but find that direct input works perfectly well

I'm not sure if direct input fixes it, but raw input causes your mouse sensitivity to be tied to fps.

Auto Centering is in the Mouse settings, but I'm not sure you can completely turn it off. I tried to for aircraft to see better from a side view when trying to pick up the mini sub with the cargobob, which was before I realized you actually have to lower the hook via E first. All it does when you lower Auto Centering to zero is slow down how fast it centers.

Horrible launcher/installer that rockstar made, wish I had bought on steam. cannot even get answers to my tickets about the installation issue, fuck rockstar.

Support is swamped right now it seems. Only reason I got a reply as fast as I did is I tacked the online issue to a similar issue from single player. Even then it took 6 days for the first reply, before adding the online part.

I ran into a bug yesterday in singleplayer when I "Took some company" into my vehicle for some sexual healing (I picked up a hooker). when she got done she would not get out of the car and I couldnt do anything except look around. I ended up having to press escape and exit the game.

OK finished the story mode...

The story was great and strong all the way through the game.... except the end It was too easy to finish the ending missions and kinda left off weak in caparison to other GTA titles. I remember playing san andreas and I must have died so many times at the last mission before I finally beat it. This last mission was so easy and not much action it was sad. Hopefully they will release some DLC's like with GTA 4.

Just wanted to say BTW that I finally got through The Paleto Score without the AI bug with one of my crew just standing there, after a lengthy redownload/reinstall. Pretty good mission.

That said, I'm still not sure anything so far in the game has been as epic as the the 3 missions taken from movies in GTA IV. I particularly liked the Heat derived Three Leaf Clover.

Oh, and just a little shout out to Vario for offering to give me a save game to get past The Paleto Score. Hopefully I'll be relatively bug free from here on out.

Almost forgot, I've been meaning to ask this for some time. I like and use the close behind camera angle. Has anyone else had a problem with it stretching farther and farther back until it looks more like the Med or even Far behind cam angle?

This bugs the crap out of me. I can almost always get it to be closer by cycling through the cam angles, and not often but every once in a while it appears to have even shifted to a further option, vs just stretching back the close behind view.

Is there any way to always force the close behind view?

I choppered the last fugitive, he was running and I was just trying to talk, but then got annoyed, and he got chopped up.

Also, the number of bridges that I can fly under, VS those that I should fly under are very different, so they don't count I guess.
